Thursday Bee

Thursday was our Pieceful Hearts Quilt Guild's day group Bee. The N.Augusta, SC quilt is finally finished. It is a pictorial quilt featuring pictures of families, buildings, etc. over the last century.

Elaine & Betty.

Jolene, Pat, Chris, Angie, Buzzy.

Pat & Angie (on the left) and Elaine, Betty & Carolyn (on the right).

Angie is always smiling and laughing. She and Jolene are my Hickory Knob Quilt Retreat roommates in January.

Rachael who will always smile when I drag the camera out.

Pat was teaching a group how to make the fabric thread catchers for their sewing machines. I bought one she had made at our last quilt show.

Carolyn, Rachael, BettyAnn & I headed to Augusta, GA for lunch after bee. On our way there, we passed a lovely home with the coolest yard art out front and we stopped to get a picture. I just love the horse and rider (and whatever it is that he has slung over the back).

We ate at the Blue Sky Kitchen on Broad Street in Augusta, GA. The food was good but it was warm even in the restaurant.
