DOT - Cookie Baking

The pups and I (with supervision from one annoyed cat) made Breath Bustin' doggie cookies. It gave me some practice for Christmas cookie baking too although the dough is a little more elastic like bread. I pulled out the angel, gingerbread man and star cookie cutters and we went to work.

Here they are ready to bake.

Finished cookies cooling on the plate.

Puppies anxiously waiting for a treat.

Nom, nom, nom...

Cannot believe she's making cookies for those stoopid puppies.

Fine, I'll just lay on the table and annoy her.

The cookie jar is filled once again and all is right in the world *sigh*

Elise says those are good looking cookies!

Your kitty looks just like my black kitty and even has the response if I give the dog a treat and not him one, LOL!
Great post today!

Mint, what a great idea, I have a garden full of it. Love the superior cat pose.

Too funny! The kitty cracks me up. I have always wanted to try baking dog treats at home - I may just give it a shot ;)

I enjoy making Grover's cookies, too. I have a recipe for wheat germ and baby foods (meats only). You mix them and roll into little balls. Flatten them a bit and bake at 350F for about 25 minutes. He adores them. Your babies are so good for their cookies:--)

Your dogs are obviously loved--you baked for them! The cat looks so regal and in-control! Does kitty ever get to sample the doggie cookies?

You are a saint to bake cookies for our dogs. I have good intentions but never get around to it. Too easy to buy them.

Nacho and I want to know what kind of treats Spunky was getting while you were baking for the doggies.
