The troops headed out for our monthly rendevue at Fiber On A Whim bright and early Thursday morning...we hit the trail at 730am....okay, so to some of you out there it isn't that early but to us, getting up at 6am is nothing short of a miracle.
Rachael, BettyAnn and myself descended on FOAW in plenty of time to look around the shop before class.
Here are some of the new months samples that they had made:
After class we trekked down the road to check out Pearl Art Supply, on the way there we passed a vision center (didn't get the name) with this turtle advertisement...
We made sure we stopped across the street to get pictures on our way back. Isn't just outrageous!!! too cute!
We then headed up Roswell Road to Alpharetta Street to Dick Blick. Just around the corner was Bargain City Thrift Store and the next door Historic Roswell Antique Market. Our last shopping adventure was to Hobby Lobby (can't leave that out) in Conyers and then on to Baan Thai Restaurant that our hawk eyed BettyAnn spotted from across the street when we were getting gas!! The food was simply delicious and I hope we get to go there again!! Our trip back to Augusta was uneventful and quiet and we pulled into our rendevous point and headed onto our respective abodes at 10:30pm...you can't say that we girls don't try and get our sightseeing/shopping jam packed in a day!!
