You Are Grape |
You are bold and a true individual. You are very different and very okay with that. People know you as a straight shooter. You're very honest, even when the truth hurts. You are also very grounded and practical. No one is going to sneak anything by you. People enjoy your fresh approach to life. And it's this honesty that makes you a very innovative person. |

Yesterday was a playday at Margaret's. I needed to work on my quilts for Romania and she was working on a new version of kaleidoscope quilts.
Here she is pinning...

PHQ Hickory Knob Quilt Retreat 2008
Each year over Martin Luther King weekend the PHQ quilters gather at Hickory Knob State Park in SC for an extended weekend of quilting, eating and general fun. We work on finishing projects, starting new projects or whatever strikes our fancy.
Betsy is cutting (I'm too A.D.D. to try cutting in a group).....
Gremlins
Practical jokes abound at the retreat...this years victims were Pat H and Angie...they left the gremlins alone that night and their quilting area was pummeled with signs and all their stuff was tied together with yarn (most of which they had removed by the time i took this picture)....Linda H 'posed' for the body and apparently it's chilly on them thar floors.....

It's SNOWING!!!
We DO NOT see much in the line of snow down here in the Augusta, GA. I had heard talk of Atlanta getting the snow but felt pretty secure that we wouldn't...however, I have been known to be wrong on occasion and apparently this is one of those times....
I moved down south to get away from this stuff....argh....
