When I am going to new places I always try to check out the local quilting and knitting shops close by. I left early from Augusta so I would have time to go shopping before the MITI Conference started. Railroad Square is an eclectic mix of shops which are highly decorated and imaginative. It was not what I expected and was a delightful surprise!! They have a First Friday like Downtown Augusta does here in Georgia.
Final destination: Really Knit Stuff
Where i found all sorts of wonderful treasures in yarn!!
She was having a wonderful sale on Cherry Hill Yarn and Ribbon. I even picked up a couple of Lambs Pride for purses. Aren't they lovely??

Janet Mackert, the Southeast Regional Coordinator for Moms In Touch International, is our faithful leader for South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
There were well over 200+ women at the Stand Firm Conference held in Tallahassee, Florida, August 24th -25th.
We had workshops, luncheons, and dessert fellowship too. The Tallahassee MITI group members went way out of their way to make us all feel welcome and at home.
Thanks Tallahassee MITI!!!!
